I finally found the first product that I'm going to put in my Etsy store, hair bows. In this party planning journey I found that there are a lot of different things that I would love to do bows, t-shirts, tutu's, printables, and personalized plates, but I cannot do it all. I've decided I will take it one party at a time and I don't have to do every part of everything so I'm choosing to do bows and be good at that. Here are the ones I did for Nina's Elmo party:
Here's my new inspiration, I love these tutorials.
As I mentioned earlier I started way back in June planning my youngest daughter birthday party. Since then I have gone through three different themes. First Dora Candyland, then Ladybugs because I saw the most adorable ladybug themed supplies on Birthday Express, and finally we settled on Abby and Elmo from Sesame Street. It's been a long rode for me because I have no graphic design experience, but with the help of some crafty bloggers and their freebies I've been coming along and have managed to put together my own customized party printables, but I still have a long way to go.
The first part of this post I'm going to show off my shirt making skills. I plan on opening up my own up my own Etsy store eventually, but I'm still sharpening up my skills. In the meantime I will be displaying my creations on here and if anyone wants to reach out to me and get anything they can reach me through the blog.

The Birthday TuTu
This is the first in what will hopefully be a long business and life venture!
I started this blog basically because I wanted to display what I was learning how to do. Back in June 2011, I started thinking about themes and such for my soon to be 2 year old birthday party. The initial them was going to be based off of the game Candyland, but my daughter is in love with anything toddler right now and she especially loves Dora and Elmo. So my search began. I was looking for Dora's Candyland themed party supplies.
No one seemed to have this combination precisely so I was going to go on etsy to special order it. As I started to browse the site I started to see things I felt that I could do myself. I had the time on my hands so I figured it's never too late to learn something new. So now I'm on a journey and I plan to bring you all with me as I begin planning events, starting with my youngest child's party, and having fun as I do so. Hopefully other people will submit their events as well and we can display our creations together for the world to see.
I'm also a makeup artist if anyone is in need of one, please respond to this post. Thanks!
